Stylish Doc West is a 2016 gorgeous red roan gelding we fondly call West. This outstanding ranch gelding has been in our string since he was three years old. West has seen a lot of big country from the mountains of Montana and Idaho to the Arizona desert. He is our go-to horse when there’s a serious ranch job to get done. West is kind, gentle, athletic, and broke. He is light in the bridle, collects up, moves off your leg, and has a great stop. He is a stout gelding weighing in at 1200 pounds but standing at 14-3 hands he’s easy to get on and off. This Montana bred gelding has done all ranch jobs, including branding, doctoring, and sorting. He has an amazing ground covering walk too! West will carry you up a mountain, cross water, or rope a bull! He’s been hauled to town and flagged on at ropings and he has been started team roping on both the heading and heeling sides. West is truly an enjoyable horse that we are proud to offer you.
