Bet Hesa Shiner is a 2018 red roan stallion who was the only horse to place at both ends of the competitive Junior Heading and Junior Heeling at the 2023 AQHA World Show and then went on to make the finals on both ends at the 2024 ARHFA World Championship in Fort Worth.
Bred by Gianna Hansen and started in the cow horse by Corey Cushing, Tyler Merrill showed Bet Hesa Shiner as a 3- and 4-year-old. NFR heeler Ryan Motes took over with Bet Hesa Shiner as a 5- and 6-year-old, consistently making the finals at the country’s biggest futurities on both ends.
With a personality that’s easy to love, Bet Hesa Shiner has been dog gentle from the start. He has the kind temperament of a ranch gelding—but he’ll be the biggest stopper in any barn. He’s the perfect ride for mom and the kids across the pasture or in the ranch riding, but he’s ready to go from the AQHA horse shows to the World Series jackpots and turn heads. Crowds and noise have never bothered him, so he’ll be ready for the bright lights of the South Point. Collect him in the morning, and rope on him in the afternoon without a problem.
Bet Hesa Shiner sells with his marketing materials—including social accounts, logo, flyers and hundreds of competition photos and videos—so your stallion program is ready-made for you. He is easy and constant to collect off a phantom, and his first foals arrived in 2024 as result of his quality cooled and frozen semen. Whether you want to just breed your own mares or go big at one of the country’s largest stallion stations, Bet Hesa Shiner is ready to elevate your program. OR, just keep him and enjoy him and his flashy looks for a rope horse of your very own.
