LOT 29: CHIC OUT MY MERCEDES
SAMSON
2012 Bay Gelding
I truly believe Samson might be the most special horse ever offered on the open market. In my lifetime I know we will never have another one like him, and I feel so lucky to have had him for the last five years. A standout open caliber head horse and will turn right around and lope to the slowest steers in the #7 roping. I've trusted him with both of my kids when they learned to ride, and I've had countless people in who had never ridden jump on him without hesitation. The first steer he ever ran for money (not joking, and not one word an exaggeration) was at the World Series Finale in Las Vegas and he never blinked.
Of the PRCA head horses I have sold over the last few years, none of them could get to the mouth of the box as fast as he does, and yet a kid can jump on, and he will ease across and let them rope. ZERO, ZERO, ZERO secrets. I have ridden him here in Wickenburg the last four years as my No. 1 horse. I guarantee I'll make a friend out of whoever gets him. We've all heard it, but he is truly a one-in-10-lifetimes kind of horse.
