LOT 64: CAT SCRATCH SIOUX
TED2011 Palomino Stallion
Cat Scratch Sioux, Ted, is an AQHA Reserve World Champion and an outstanding all-around stallion that produces outstanding foals. Ted has a willing disposition and confirmation that gets genetically passed down to his offspring. I have owned Ted since his 3-year-old year, the same year he was the AQHA Reserve World Champion in Junior Heading. He also made the heeling finals as a 3-year-old. Ted has multiple AQHA World Show placings in the Open and Amateur with a few being Heading, Heeling, Performance Halter Stallion, Junior Tie-down and Pole Bending. Ted also qualified for Ranch Riding at the World Show. Ted has AQHA World Show earnings of $9,237 and has won numerous buckles and has multiple all-around wins. Ted was a finalist at the AFRHA in Open Heading and Top 10 Amateur Heading and Heeling at ARFHA and AQHA World Show. This stallion is automatic and rides the same every time. He can sit for long periods of time and ride off as if he rode the day before. Ted is easy to handle, quiet, respectful and no tune ups or maintenance are necessary. Ted has been ridden by amateurs and pros, just about anyone with experience can ride him. Ted has been used for pasture breeding only. During breeding season, you can grab him out of the pasture, take him to a roping and turn him back out with no problems. Ted has been ridden and shown by some of the best trainers in the business being Luke Jones, JD Yates, Jordan Allyn, and Jay Wadhams. This stallion is phenomenal to be around and ride. He is looking for his next home due to the owner retiring out of the breeding business. Ted will be with JD Yates in Pueblo, Colorado, through the first week of February and then Ted will be in Cave Creek, Arizona, with JD up to the sale. If anyone would like to come try him out or have any questions please don't hesitate to call JD or Robert. Thank you for your interest.
