Stop right there, you don’t want to miss this one! He stands 15HH and weighs 1150lbs. Newt is as smooth, and fine as a glass of the best whiskey ever poured. He is a finished head horse that makes the job easy. He will stand flat footed in the box, leave flat, and then run hard to the cattle with lots of rate and a nice move on the corner. Newt has a classy, money winning face, that will take you to the pay window! This gelding has been rode in the number 8 and 9 ropings by my wife and I have used him in the 11 all the way up to the 13. He will go where you want to rope. But, if roping is not your thing, and you’re just looking for a horse to go ride down the trail, Newt is your man for that too! You can drop your hand and he will walk out with a nice smooth walk, cross water with ease, and carefully maneuver through rough terrain. He has also gathered and sorted cattle, along with many other ranch duties. He will pivot, side pass, lope pretty circles and go through obstacles. He’s in the prime of his life, handsome, and has so much talent. Can’t complain about this combination!
